Volkswagen honoured for electromobility campaign

The Volkswagen Classic : Heritage Division was delighted to be awarded winner of the "Campaign" category of the 2018 Automotive Brand Contest, thanks to their successful cross-media campaign promoting the history of Electromobility.

Honoured by an independent jury of experts, the Wolfsburg-based group was the clear stand-out winner of the prize, having pieced together a fascinating campaign that looks at the long tradition of Electromobility and Volkswagen, from the early 1970s to present day.

In the early 1970s, Volkswagen were also developing and producing VW electric-powered vehicles in Wolfsburg, Germany, at a time when other manufacturers had not yet imagined it as a possibility. This highlights the innovation and forward-thinking energy behind Volkswagen cars.
