"A legend." That's how the RAC described the Audi's iconic quattro series of cars and with plenty of reason. Boasting impressive performance and practicality in equal measure, the Audi A6 Allroad quattro is the successor to the 1980 original and Aberdeen Audi customer, Irvine Crighton, is a true fan. We caught up with him to learn his five favourite features.
"If I want to, I can put it into sport mode and it can go from 0-60 mph very rapidly. I can even switch to economy and get 45-50 miles per gallon."
"It has unbelievable space. I'm currently helping my daughter out and I can fit a lawnmower inside, as well as garden tools and bags of soil. It's absolutely loaded and within two minutes, it's all out and the car is back to normal. You'd never known you've carried something."
"It looks stunning. The options I added to it were heated front seats, a walnut trim and I just feel every time getting into it is like getting into a brand new car."
"The built-in Sat-Nav is fantastic. I've used it just this morning. I had to find a place off the beaten track and found it without a single issue or wrong turn."
"Where I live, there's two hills on the route to my house. The quattro system makes it so easy. Straight up and down and I can see everyone else struggling to get up!"
"I was lost for words the day I picked it up. It's absolutely stunning and I was so impressed driving it home. I's an extemely comfortable car, effortless to drive. If you want it to be quick and get out of a situation it can be. If you want it to be economical, it can be that too."
