New Nissan LEAF Motability Offer

Are you considering an electric vehicle?

Did you know that if you’re a Motability Scheme customer then you can have a charge point installed at your home, or gain access to a network of charge points for easy on-street charging? Read more about this new initiative below.

A charging solution for electric vehicle customers

We know that many of our customers are interested in electric vehicles but are concerned with charging them. So, as part of our worry-free motoring package, we’re offering customers who place an application for full battery electric vehicles an at-home charge point at no additional cost.

If you are unable to fit a home charging point at your property, for example, if you don’t have access to off-street parking, then instead you’ll be able to access a network of charging points for easy on-street charging.

Available now at Specialist Cars Nissan Aberdeen

The all-electric Nissan LEAF E+ has a range of up to 239 miles from every charge. The advanced Nissan LEAF represents low running costs, making sense for your pocket and the planet.

What sort of car is it?

The Nissan LEAF was one of the first mainstream electric cars on sale. Now in second generation guise, everything the company learnt from the first one has gone into making this sharp-edged version better than ever. It’s even built here in Britain, for added patriotic kudos.

Why is it so popular?

The LEAF is a family-sized five-door, with five seats and a commodious 435-litre boot. It is a no-compromise car, easily able to take on the challenges of family life with room to spare. It is well equipped too, with plenty of gadgets and a comprehensive touchscreen sat-nav system (which, like all-electric cars, shows you the location of compatible nearby public charging points).

The range of this more accessible version with the 39kWh battery is 168 miles, which most will find perfectly sufficient. There are versions with longer ranges (called LEAF e+), these are slightly more expensive, but give you an extra range of up to 239 miles. The LEAF is ready to use public rapid chargers too, which top the battery up from 20% to 80% in just 60 minutes.
