Volkswagen and Microsoft have announced an exciting and innovative partnership that will see both brands collaborate to develop the 'Volkswagen Automotive Cloud'.
This state-of-the-art ssystem will operate as one of the largest dedicated automotive industry clouds, where users can access all future Volkswagen digital services and mobility information with ease.
“Volkswagen is harnessing technology to digitally transform and deliver innovative new connected car services to its customers,” said Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft.
“The world’s leading companies run on Azure, and we are thrilled that Volkswagen has chosen Microsoft. Together we will reimagine the driving experience for people everywhere.”
From 2020, we will see more than 5 million new VW cars connected per year and forming part of the Internet of Things (IOT) on the cloud.
