The new Volvo EX30 Cross Country is now available, bringing a fresh take on electric driving with a focus on adventure, durability and Scandinavian design.
Originally inspired by Sweden’s rugged landscapes, the EX30 Cross Country builds on Volvo’s heritage of all-weather capability, combining compact SUV practicality with fully electric performance and enhanced off-road readiness.
Designed to move effortlessly between urban streets and outdoor trails, the EX30 Cross Country offers up to 427km of electric range and rapid charging from 10–80% in as little as 26 minutes.
Key upgrades over the standard EX30 include increased ride height for improved ground clearance, larger wheels with optional all-terrain tyres, and standard all-wheel drive for enhanced grip and stability. These features make it equally suited to daily commuting or weekend escapes, whatever the weather.
The EX30 Cross Country introduces a more adventurous design language while staying true to Volvo’s clean aesthetic. Distinctive elements include a dark front shield and rear detailing, a unique topographic design inspired by Sweden’s Kebnekaise mountain range, and robust skid plates with extended wheel arches, giving the car a more rugged and capable appearance.
Add to the car’s appearance and performance by opting for the 18" all-terrain wheels. They further enhance the rugged look, contribute to a higher ground clearance and provide top-tier traction.

Inside, the EX30 Cross Country continues Volvo’s focus on intelligent, space-efficient design. A central soundbar replaces traditional door speakers to maximise storage space, while a flexible centre console with sliding cupholders and a removable, washable rear storage box adds everyday practicality. A helpful “Will it fit?” guide in the boot makes loading gear simple and efficient.
Built-in Google services, including Google Maps, provide seamless navigation, and the Volvo app allows drivers to pre-condition the cabin before setting off.
Safety remains a core focus, with advanced systems designed to help prevent collisions. These include braking and steering assistance for avoiding vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, as well as driver monitoring alerts that detect distraction or fatigue.
With the car now available, Volvo is also introducing the Cross Country Experience, offering customers a curated range of accessories and gear to enhance outdoor adventures. Available options include roof load carriers, roof baskets, all-terrain tyres and mudflaps, with additional offerings expected in the future.
