Until the 30th September 2020, when you purchase a new Volvo Hybrid Model you will receive ONE YEARS FREE ELECTRICITY.
Essentially Volvo will reimburse you for the electricity you use while driving.
We know that driving in 'Pure electric mode' decreases your ecological footprint as well as helping to reduce your running costs.
How is this possible?
When you own a Volvo you will have access to the Volvo On Call app*. This App will put you in the driving seat allowing you to control and monitor your driving. The App will provide you with insightful information on every journey so that you can minimise your emissions.
To further help you in your pursuit of more sustainable driving we will provide you with one years free electricity when you purchase any new Volvo plug-in hybrid.
After the first 12 months with your new Volvo plug-in hybrid, we will refund your kWh energy consumption based on average costs for electricity during that period.
Recharge Free Electricity Offer – Terms & Conditions
1. Volvo Car UK Limited (“Volvo Cars”) will reimburse the cost of electricity used to charge a new Volvo plug-in hybrid for a period of up to 12 months, subject to a maximum electricity consumption of 3000kWh (the “Offer”). 2. The Offer is open to UK residents aged 18+ who purchase a qualifying Volvo vehicle. The vehicle must be owned for a minimum period of twelve months. 3. The Offer applies to all new Volvo plug-in hybrid cars (“Volvo PHEV”) ordered from a participating UK retailer from October 17th, 2019 until 30th September 2020. 4. Electricity costs will be reimbursed via the Volvo On Call app for a period of up to 12 months (the “Electricity Period”). To take advantage of the Offer, new Volvo PHEVs must be registered within the Volvo On Call app for the duration of the Electricity Period. 5. The Electricity Period will commence following a Volvo on Call update incorporating electricity usage monitoring and reimbursement tools in May 2020. The first owner of a vehicle registered on the Volvo On Call app which consumes electricity prior to this date will not have such electricity reimbursed. For vehicles sold after this date, the Electricity Period will commence on the date the vehicle is registered on the Volvo on Call app. 6. Volvo Cars will, at the end of the Electricity Period, reimburse the first owner of the Volvo PHEV the electricity costs as calculated within the Volvo On Call app at a price determined by Volvo Cars. The price will be the average cost of electricity in the UK as determined by Volvo Cars based on appropriate third-party sources. 7. The Offer is non-transferrable and not available in the event the vehicle is sold to a third party or second owner within the Electricity Period. 8. The Offer is not applicable to cars sold to rental fleets, retailer demonstrators or to employees, employees' families or associates of Volvo Cars. The Offer is also not applicable to standard internal combustion engine vehicles or mild hybrid variants. 9. Volvo Cars will not be liable for any forms of tax liability as a result of the first owner benefiting from the Offer. The first owner will be responsible for all tax benefit liabilities. 10. Volvo Cars reserve the right to withdraw or amend these terms and conditions without prior notice at any time, for whatever reason, and without liability for doing so.
