For many years now, The John Clark Motor Group have been proud sponsors of Teenage Scottish Racing Driver Gordie Mutch. Gordie's been busy this month, including an eventful race at Oulton Park back on the 2nd of August. Having been out of Racing for a while due to Lockdown, it was always going to be tough, and it got tougher when he had an engine failure only 5 laps into his practice laps. Despite this setback, Gordie managed to Qualify in P4 before being forced back in for his car to be checked. In the first race he finished in P3, second race P4 and the third race P8. He was leading in the final race but was unfortunately hit and spun out. He came back onto the track in 13th place, and made it up to 8th within three laps. A truly remarkable performance, particularly after the lack of testing and the engine failure. Many people had said that it would have shaken even the most experienced professional drivers, so well done to Gordie for putting in such a great performance!
