Protective Measures At John Clark

Our dealerships in Scotland remain open for you. We have put a wide range of strict protective measures in place to ensure our dealerships are as safe as possible for both our customers and staff. Our main goal is to continue to deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to the government guidelines. We want to re-assure you that whether you are visiting us for sales, service or parts you can do so with confidence.

What you can expect when you visit one of our dealerships:

  • 2m Social distancing markers throughout the dealership to ensure a safe social distance for everyone
  • Trained friendly staff issued with appropriate PPE including mandatory masks (unless exempt)
  • Protective screens at our customer facing staff's desks
  • Sanitation points at the entrance and throughout the dealerships. Our trained staff will prompt you to sanitise when necessary. We have introduced the highest hygiene protocols and enhanced cleaning procedures throughout all of our dealerships.
  • Sanitation programme for all vehicles

The short videos below explain the further protective measures we are taking to protect both our customers and staff during the Coronavirus pandemic. This includes contactless handovers and home delivery test drives.

Contactless Handover At John Clark

With the social distancing regulations in place, handing over a vehicle is not going to be the same for the immediate future therefore we have introduced our contactless handover. Rather than explain every step to you we have prepared a short video to help you understand what we are going to do and what is expected of you. We understand that once you have bought a car you cannot wait to get it home and our contactless handover enables you to do just that. Our home delivery handovers are available now to safeguard both our customers.

Home Delivery Test Drive

When you are considering a new vehicle, we understand the importance of experiencing how it drives and seeing if the vehicle will meet with your lifestyle demands. Therefore, we are pleased to offer home delivery test drives.

We need 24 hours’ notice prior to your test drive as we will need to ensure the vehicle is thoroughly cleansed and sanitised. Furthermore, we are not able to offer accompanied test drives due to social distancing and for insurance purposes we will require a photograph of your driving license sent to us on email the day before you are due to have your test drive.

While we firmly believe that driving the car yourself is the best option, we will happily do virtual test drives for you too. Just ask and we will be happy to help.
